Durango School District 9-R is a high-performing school district located in western La Plata County in Southwest Colorado. With seven elementary schools, two middle schools and a comprehensive high school. 9-R serves approximately 4,700 students. It’s widely known as "a community committed to innovation and excellence in education."

 

After CiMiAtch redesigned 9-R's logo, the superintendent recruited me again to revamp every 9-R school logo. While using each school's personal mascot (and sometimes their own illustrations), I developed a consistent look to visually unify all 9-R schools. Go team!
